Then maybe you need to become a PADI scuba instructor with our comprehensive PADI IDC program.  As a scuba instructor you are an ambassador for the ocean, a role that we take very seriously and instill throughout all of our professional programs. With our PADI IDC we have now added more to our new curriculum with additional marine conservation emphasis and modules including a Dive for Debris during the program.

For  2019 season we are also offering PADI IDCs in Bocas Del Toro, Panama.

During the program you will look at how to breakdown and instruct basic PADI scuba programs as well as looking at the business of diving, control techniques and the industry of diving. This includes marketing and management techniques as well as marine conservation during your teaching.
At our centre here in Costa Rica we offer a fully comprehensive PADI IDC program to prepare you for a career in the scuba diving industry, not just to pass the IDC. That is only part of the preparation process.

There is also optional resort training and a chance to get experience teaching after your IDC.

For our PADI IDCs in Panama we work in conjunction with PADI IDC center Bocas Dive Center.

What does the IDC involve?

The PADI IDC with Go Pro is a 12 day program that covers all aspects of teaching scuba and working in the scuba industry.
The first portion looks at teaching techniques for classroom, confined water and open water environments. The second part of the PADI IDC covers how to break down and teach each of the individual courses.
Additional topics covered during your program include, the business of diving, risk Management and standards and procedures.

At Go Pro we also offer extra sessions in our program to ensure that you are receiving a well rounded professional scuba education. These include advanced teaching workshops, marketing yourself with social media and branding and additional sessions on paperwork and standards. With our passion for conserving the underwater environment we are now also including additional marine conservation modules and workshops.
