As part of Operation Rich Coast, a national initiative to clean up our beautiful countries beaches and coast, Go Pro Costa Rica is helping organize a clean up on Playa La Macha and Playa La Vaca.

Our ocean is drowning in plastic and it is estimated that 8 million metric tonnes of additional plastic enters the ocean from the land every year. It enters our food chain and kills so much marine life it’s frightening. So what are you going to do? Why not come join us on December 30th and help us make a difference here in Manuel Antonio. Operation Rich Coast are organizing clean ups throughout the country on December 30th and we are in charge of organizing a clean up two amazingly beautiful beaches right here. They are two beaches that are less visited so real gems. With beautiful hikes and scenery on the way you can explore a part of Manuel Antonio rarely touched and yet still in need like all our coastline. We will be meeting at Ronnys Place restaurant at 9am the morning of the 30th and then completing the 15 minute hike down to the beach.

We would love to have you join us, just don’t forget your sunblock, water and sensible shoes!!
