Micheal joined us a GoPro Costa Rica for his IDC, successfully completed his IE and came back to gain more experience for a month. He is an excellent instructor, and you always have a fun time diving with Micheal...if he remembers his reg!

Billy has plenty of diving experience all over Costa Rica, an was looking to improve his Dive skills and get up the career ladder. He is now working in the North of Costa Rica in Guanacaste.
Paco- Wisconsin, USA PADI Divemaster Graduate 2010
Paco took a break from studying Physics to become a PADI Divemaster. He quickly became take of the team and decided to stay in Costa Rica for 5 months. he is currently hoping to DM in Hawaii before completing his studies.
Emma - Birmingham, England PADI Divemaster Graduate 2010
Our Eco passionate Divemaster Emma really got involved in the Costa Rican community and visited several different local schools to give talks about local marine environments. She is a Marine Biologist and her next adventure is in Jamaica where she will be workng on some environmental projects in Discovery bay! Have fun Emma!
Alex - London, England PADI Divemaster Graduate 2010
Alex has always been closely affiliated with water, the last few years he has been working crewing yachts in the the Mediterranean Sea. Taking his rescue and Divemaster was the next step. He has also decided to stay and gain ,ore experience as a DM with Oceans Unlimited until he finds his next position on a Boat...hopefully with divng!
Sean - New York, USA PADI Assistant Instructor Graduate 2010
Sean is an MBA graduate that took on the PADI Divemaster and Assistant Instructor course to give himself a new challenge. He is a go getter and also completed his EFR Instructor training whilst he was here. He has now returned to the USA to carry on his career in finance.
Karol - Costa Rica PADI Instructor Graduate 2010
Karol completed her all her dive training from Open Water to Divemaster at the Costa Rican Technical college for further education in Puntarenas last year. She was also bitten by the diving bug and completed he IDC in April and is now is one of the few female Costa Rican PADI Dive Instructors. Well done Karol! Karol already has a many students waiting to take PADI courses with her!
Ralf - Austria PADI Instructor Graduate 2010
Ralf is a trained chef and after running his own restaurant to many years, he decided it was time for a break and headed to Central America to follow another passion...diving! After completing his Divemaster and Assistant Instructor training in Panama, Ralf wanted to further professional diving career to Instructor level in Costa Rica. He is now returning to Europe to start his next adventure!

Trained to be a PADI Divemaster last year and has been DMing with Oceans Unlimited for the last few months. He wants to continue his PADI professional career, who knows in a couple years we might have another Course Director!
Rachel - Alaska, USA PADI Divemaster Graduate 2010
Rachel came to Costa Rica to do a Rescue, EFR and Divemaster package and escape the cold climate of Alaska. She loves the warm waters of Costa Rica so much that she has decided to stay until returning to the US in September to study Biology or Anthropology at Brown University.

First started diving with Oceans Unlimited in 2007, he soon worked his way up to Divemaster and has been working with us for 2 years as a Divemaster and more recently an Assistant Instructor. In February 2010 Alonso became a PADI Instructor and has been enjoying teaching with us ever since.
Arturo - Spain PADI Instructor Graduate 2010
Arturo came to Costa Rica 2 years ago from Madrid, Spain. He started his dive career with the Costa Rican Technical College INA, and worked his way up to Divemaster. He came to Oceans Unlimited to do a months internship and decided to stay and do his PADI IDC. He is working with us to gain experience and hopes to open his own dive center in the future.
Cesar - Ibiza, Spain PADI Instructor Graduate 2010
From Ibiza, Cesar came to Costa Rica to complete his PADI Instructor training and also have a tropical vacation. He is now back in the Balearic Islands to start the new diving season as an Instructor!

Conrad was Oceans Unlimited's longest serving Divemaster trainees (DMT)! Conrad is a great friend and a VERY mellow guy, he runs Vista Serena, one of the local hostels here in Manuel Antonio.

Gil - Florida, USA PADI Instructor Graduate 2009
Gil had to travel oh soooo far to come see us in here in Quepos! He has been living in neighboring Dominical for a number of years and after graduating with us as PADI Instructor is now teaching and working with our friends in the south at Costa Rica Dive n'Surf!
Shane - Australia PADI Divemaster & Instructor Graduate 2009
Shane became a great friend over the couple of months that he was training with us, and is now back on the Gold Coast of OZ. He is studying Marine Science at University and has already certified some of his fellow classmates and friends!
Dive Drew came to us from diving in the cold and deep waters of the UK and now we just couldn't get rid of him!! He is a great guy and just TOO handy to have about the dive center, he can fix any dive equipment and great with customers. Drew also completed his IDC Staff Instructor at Go Pro Costa Rica. He has now headed out to korea and is hoping to open his own dive center in Asia in the future. Good luck Drew, we will miss you!!!

An Astrophysicist with MIT came to Costa Rica for the challenge of the PADI Instructor course. Jaime has now returned to Massachusetts to complete his thesis...I'm sure he wishes he was diving!
Corrine - England PADI Divemaster Graduate 2009
Bubbly Corrine form Surrey, England is now off to Hawaii to work out there as a Divemaster for the coming season. She did an Advanced through Divemaster Package, and we will miss her laughter and flowery fins!

Anton is probably the cleverest person in the world and whizzed through his Divemaster Training in about 2 weeks! He also did his Tec training with us and is now back at MIT solving world problems.

Katie came to Costa Rica to Learn Spanish and DIVE...and she did! She was always fun to have on the boat and is now working in the Bay Islands, Honduras.

Master Bowler as well as Master diver, he helped us achieve second place at the bowling tournament as well as finding time to complete all his training up to Divemaster level! Kiernan is now working in Curacao.

Tom was a fantastic student who completed both his rescue diver and divemaster training with us even though he was addicted to the afternoon siesta. After 4 weeks in and an interesting encounter with a pair of hair clippers found that leaking masks weren't a problem anymore! Tom is now back in the UK at University.
Zuzana, the incredible stunt-woman, originally form the Czech republic, added diving to here repertoire of crazy skills while here with us in Costa Rica. She is now back to performing death defying feats in New York!
Jared - South Carolina, USA PADI Divemaster Graduate 2008
Jared first cames to us for his open water training and kept on coming back for more! He is a larger than life character, and always makes diving fun. Jared is now in Taiwan teaching English, but we hope to she him again soon!
Abraham - Costa Rica PADI AI Graduate 2008
Now living and working in Switzerland with his wife and child. Abraham is Costa Rican and worked with us for 2 years before moving to Europe, where he is now Divemastering in the cold lakes...and he got cold in Costa Rica!!
Roberto - Colombia PADI Divemaster Graduate 2007
Roberto worked with Oceans Unlimited for several years before setting up and ATV tour Company in Quepos. ATV Quad have a fantastic adrenaline fill tour, but we do still manage to drag Roberto away to dive sometimes!
Hazel - England PADI Divemaster Graduate 2007
Hazel came to us from England with for an Open Water to Divemaster package, as well as studying Spanish. She returned to the UK to study but has now returned to Quepos and is running Akai, a successful healthy cafe. They have the best sandwiches, wraps and smoothies in town..one of our favorites!
Victor - BC, Canada PADI Divemaster Graduate 2007
Victor originally from Canada has been living out in Costa Rica for a couple of years, working at the Costa Verde Hotel in Manuel Antonio. He started diving with Oceans Unlimited and went all the way to Divemaster and a couple specialties too ...BUT still gets seasick! Victor is a fantastic divemaster, but you will only see him on the boat on the calmest of days. ;)
Jamie - England PADI Divemaster Graduate 2007
Came from England to do a Rescue and Divemaster package. Jaime was probably one of our most accident prone Divemaster trainees, always with new mystery cuts and bruises!! These mainly came from his hobby a a kite surfer. Jaime is now back in the UK.
Dennis - Seattle, USA PADI Divemaster Graduate 2007
Dennis came to Costa Rica to dive in our warm waters, bit of a change to the Puget Sound! He is now back in the US working.
