My Experience on the PADI Scuba Instructor Course!

After a less than pleasant experience with another 5* IDC Costa Rican dive operator I decided to give my IDC/instructor course another try on a leap of faith. Initial contact before I came over Costa Rica was positive and informative, at the end of my stay at the other place I got in contact with another staff member who reassured me I would get the attention and support needed to pass the PADI Instructor Course. So I took the bus to Quepos, was greeted there by one of the fellow course students who brought me and my travel buddy to the homestay the diveshop arranged for us. Started the course the next day, with enough personal attention for whatever needed to be worked on and always somebody available to answer questions.

All in all a positive experience and recommended to all that consider getting doing professional level courses in Costa Rica. The new location they are gearing up to move into looks very promising as well, with on-site training facilities, housing and bar/restaurant available as well.
